A year ago in 2016 (Summer Trip) me and my three adventurous friends tried to backpacker to the Japan. The city we are headed to is Tokyo.
Goals and targets that we want to achieve in this traveling session is the lowest budget possible, visiting as many attractions as possible with a short enough time (short trip) because the four of us have a very minimal time offices leave.
Our trip period is 5D5N.
We depart from Jakarta at 07.50 WIB with PP 3.2jt promo ticket.
Travel from Jakarta to KL 2 hours (then transit in KLIA for 4 hours) and travel from KL to Tokyo is 7 hours.

First arrived in Tokyo..
At 21:40 (Tokyo time) we landed at Haneda International Tokyo. After passing our immigration process to the airport external area. Where the night scene is quite beautiful, the sky is clear and the wind is blowing softly. The night air was not too cold because it was Summer in Tokyo.
For a while we wandered around, enjoying the beautiful sky of Tokyo. While occasionally taking pictures in some places. Then we sit back while unwinding.

At 23.30 we entered the inside of the airport, where we found some uniqueness. There is a row of beautiful flowers in stacking with very interesting, there is a typical Japanese house is arranged very cool. All looked beautiful and well maintained.

After we were satisfied around, we went up to the 5th floor. There we rest tonight, the location to rest quite comfortably. There are many soft sofas that can be used for sleeping and security is good enough because many security officers are routinely around. There is also ready to rent a place to take a bath with a rate of 1300¥ for 30 minutes usage time.
We are overnight at the airport because tomorrow morning will buy the JR Tokyo Wide Pass train ticket which is located at the first floor of airport (this ticket is valid for 3 days and can be used to get around Tokyo with many preferred routes). Ticket price is 10,000¥  and buy pasmo for 5000 ¥.

Both train cards we chose to save more transportation costs during our tour of Tokyo and Mt.Fuji. As many of us know that transportation in Tokyo is quite expensive. For the nearest lane is approximately the price of 140¥. But the expensive price is very comparable to our convenience in getting transportation services that are integrated into all corners of the city and region.

Activity "Itinerary" first day at TOKYO
At 5 am we wake up, enjoy the sunrise then to Lawson buy breakfast and some snacks. At that time we chose Onigiri menu as a morning meal. First because halal second because it seems quite familiar with our tongue.

For the price of Onigiri in Tokyo the average variation ranging from 110 ¥ to 140 ¥. So let Onigiri be the mainstay menu for breakfast, other than halal, the price is quite efficient, practical and easy to get anywhere (Lawson, 7eleven, familymart, etc.). While the price of mineral water in Tokyo is quite expensive, on average for 300 ml bottle is sold at a price of 120 ¥ (± Rp.15.000, -) then we anticipate by bringing 2 bottles of drinking in the bag and we always refill on the faucet points drinking water provided free of charge in many public areas or for refills from mineral water bottles 1500lt (much more efficient buy size 1500lt which can be obtained at a price of 130 ¥ "Rp.16.250, -").

At 7 am the JR Wide Pass counter is open, we go to the ticket store. After the tickets we get us to the station to board the train to Mt.Fuji. Our first list of itin is Mt.Fuji.
From Haneda Station we boarded the train towards Asakusa. With JR Tokyo Wide Pass and Pasmo tickets available we are free to choose any train path without buying unit ticket back. To get into the station we do not need to pass through the gate but through a special door that is located next to the station officer's office. Simply by showing the JR Wide Tokyo Pass card, the first time the usage will be stamped by the attendant but then just simply show the card to see its exp's date only.

From Asakusa train station transit 3x then connect with Fujikyu Rail Express until finally arrived at the last stop at bus terminal connecting to Kawaguchiko and Mt.Fuji.
Travel by Train we took from Asakusa approximately 2.5 hours, during the trip with the train we found many beautiful scenery that is a pity to miss. Villages with typical Japanese houses, plantations and winding roads that beautify the village landscape.

Then we went on the bus. Price return ticket 1200 ¥ (Rp.150.000, -).
The weather was cloudy and drizzling. We pierced the rain to Kawaguchiko. There we decided not to get off the bus in because when arriving at the location kawaguchiko the rain became dense.
We continue our journey to Mt.Fuji. The journey by bus takes about 70 minutes.
The road we went through was amazing. On the right side there is a green landscape of pine forest, winding roads and stunning natural landscapes.

Arrived at Mt.Fuji at 14.10 local time. The happy and the flood of emotion mixed together as the four of us set foot in Mt.Fuji area. Visible many tourists already meet the area and they are ready with hiking gear and thick jacket.

Soon we mingled with other travelers. Explore and enjoy the fresh air and scenery around us. The temperature at that time ranged in the number 8⁰ - 11⁰ C.

Around the location there are also many souvenir shops and foods that sell souvenirs typical Mt. Fuji. Souvenirs with the theme of Mt.Fuji which of course only exist in that location. Because in Japan sell souvenirs according to the location visited. Like fuji mountain chocolate, mt.Fuji themed keychains, mt.Fuji themed magnets and some other typical souvenirs that will not get in Tokyo.

About 4 hours we toured the area around the foot of Mt. Fuji mountain, hiking though not to the top of the mountain and enter some souvenir shops and cafes there to buy souvenirs and tasting food. At 18.30 we head to the bus stop that will take us back to Fujikyu rail express station, it's getting dark.
We returned to Tokyo, with travel time of about 3.5 hours.

At 22:15 we arrived back in Tokyo (Asakusa Station). The night atmosphere in Asakusa is quite crowded and fun. We walked along the sidewalk and found some snack sellers (a variety of fishballs, and others with prices ranging from 80 to ¥ 250 per pcs). That night we decided to stop at Yoshinoya for dinner before returning to the hotel. In Tokyo, Yoshinoya restaurant is mostly located on the edge of pedestrian street (unlike in Jakarta which is mostly found in the mall). Average menu 1 package is sold at a price of 380 ¥ - 640 ¥ (Rp.47.500, - s / d Rp.80.000, -) quite affordable and economical because 1 package is included with drinking.

Finished eating and talking we went back to the hotel. While in Tokyo I stay at Khaosan World Asakusa Hostel. Quite comfortable although at that time I chose a room with type dormitory with bathroom (female).
Clean room conditions, spacious enough, there are large lockers for storage bags and toilet standart like a 3 star hotel.

One special toilet for bathing, one special for closed. There are 2 washtafels and a large mirror in front of the toilet. Room is also equipped with AC and Free WIFI. The current price per night is 310,000 (I happen to be promo price of 430 thousand price). Its location was quite strategic. 400 meters from Asakusa temple and 700 meters from Asakusa station.

While my three friends rented a unit apartment in Asakusa with an economical rental price. Can for 4 person capacity complete with pantry facility, toilet, furniture and portable WIFI modem with 2 GB quota (enough for internet access for 4 days in Tokyo can save money).

So our first day trip in japan. An all day adventure in Mt.Fuji. For the second day of the trip and then I will tell you in the next story.

Waiting for friends. Greetings of friendship forever.
